PRESENTATION

My field is utility ceramics, which I throw on the wheel or build by hand. I'm mostly interested in dishes for daily use; pots, cups and plates for different purposes. The handmarks should be seen in the handmade. This makes the ceramic unique and a more personal and soft alternative than the industrially produced objects.

I want to make functional, classic and simple forms that are timlessly modern. When I design an item I start from the needs. The inner form and volume is as important as the outside. The final result is a sum of my design, my glazes, decorations and the good and bad spirits of the kiln.

If people use my items daily and feel that they are working well, it pleases me and gives me motivation to continue my work.
